All About Mrs. Simon
Hello! My name is Mrs. Simon. I am so excited to spend this school year getting to know all of you! I graduated Monmouth University with a degree in English, Elementary Education, and Early Childhood Education. This will be my fifth school year at FTS and fourth school year teaching second grade at FTS! I can not wait to meet all of you. We are going to have a wonderful school year.
I grew up in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Not only am I a school teacher, but I am a dance and gymnastics teacher. Growing up, I was a competitive dancer. I found my passion to work with young children at a young age when I became a dance assistant. I like to carry over my passion for dance in the classroom by teaching different dance moves on spare time and brain breaks.
I have a soon to be 1 year old son named Miles and two dogs named Loki and Thor. I love to spend time with my family and reading books. I am obsessed with Harry Potter and the Marvel universe. My favorite Marvel character is Loki. My favorite thing to do in the summer is go to the beach.

All About Mrs. Lamonde
Hi, my name is Mrs. Lamonde. I will be your second grade teacher this year. I can’t wait to meet you, but for now I would like to tell you a little about myself.
I have three children. Kellan is 9, Sloan is 11 and Dacota is 29. We also have a pet cat named Elvis. Our favorite thing to do is to spend time outside, especially at the beach. We love to watch the wildlife in our yard including baby birds, fawns, and baby squirrels, and even tiny monarch caterpillars. Sometimes I bring the caterpillars to school so the class can watch them grow into monarchs. We also look for whales and dolphins at the Jersey shore. We have even seen a baby sea turtle!
My other hobbies are reading, running and paddle boarding. My favorite color is purple and my favorite dinner is tacos. In the summer my family always goes to North Carolina with all of our cousins and extended family. This summer we have a trip to Iceland planned. We are hoping to see puffins and glaciers!
